POOLKEMIE^® is specialized in the formulation and manufacture of RTV2 silicone rubbers for many different application fields.

RTV2 silicone rubbers can be in liquid or pasty form. Generally they are bicomponent products that cure at room temperature. The addition of the catalyst causes the irreversible reaction that form an elastomeric compound characterized by high elasticity and excellent mechanical properties. The RTV2 silicone rubbers are easy to use for the realization of flexible moulds and matrices to reproduce articles of different type and dimension starting from the original model. Silicone rubber moulds have anti-adherence properties, allow an easy demoulding of models and of the objects to be realized. The silicone rubber moulds allow to obtain an extreme faithfulness in the reproduction of the model details.

RTV2 silicone rubbers divided mainly in two family products:

• Poly-condensation curing
• Poly-addition curing

Poly-condensation Silicon Rubber Type

SILIMOLD AL series
High tear resistance – curing by poly-condensation process.
Most used silicone rubber for moulding - suitable for artistic sector, decorative candles, cornices, and many other applicative sectors.

SILIMOLD SERIE BL
Low tear resistance - curing by poly-condensation process.
Most used for make moulds for shoe industry, simple moluds for other applications where it is not requested a lonfg life of the moulds.

Poly-addition Silicon Rubber Type

SILIMOLD SERIE AD
High tear resistance, curing at room temperature by poly-addition process, absense of linear shrinkage.
Available special formulations for food industry and for making moulds for anatomical parts of the human body - scenography and special effects
